The primary goal of SphereHub is to facilitate safe and legitimate connections for housing.

• Be Truthful: All information you provide—in your profile, matching forms, and housing listings—must be accurate, current, and honest.Prohibited: Posting fake profiles or knowingly listing misrepresented properties.
• Safety First: Do not post personal, sensitive, or financial information (like bank account details, Social Security Numbers, or credit card numbers) in public areas of the platform.
• Protect Minors: Do not post or share any content that exploits or endangers minors. Users must meet the minimum age requirement set in the Terms and Conditions.
• No Illegal Activity: Do not use the platform to promote, facilitate, or participate in any illegal activities, including fraud or harassment.

2. Respectful and Appropriate Conduct

SphereHub is a diverse community. Treat all users with dignity and respect.

• No Harassment or Bullying: Do not send threatening, intimidating, explicit, or unwanted messages to other users, landlords, or university contacts.
• Zero Tolerance for Hate Speech: Content that promotes or encourages discrimination, violence, or hostility against protected groups is strictly forbidden.
• No Explicit Content: Do not post sexually explicit or pornographic content, or content that promotes sexual services or solicitation.
• Keep it Relevant: Use the messaging and posting features for their intended purpose: finding roommates, discussing housing, and coordinating viewings.

3. Property Listing Standards

Listings must be fair, accurate, and transparent.

• Non-Discrimination: Housing listings must comply with all local, state, and federal Fair Housing laws. You cannot deny housing or use discriminatory language based on protected characteristics.
• Accuracy: Housing details, including price, location, amenities, and availability dates, must be accurate. Use genuine, current photos of the specific property.
• Transparency in Fees: Clearly disclose all mandatory fees, security deposit amounts, and required screening processes upfront in the listing description.
• No Unauthorized Listings: Only list properties that you have the legal authority to rent, sublet, or manage.

4. Spam and Commercial Use

The platform is designed for housing connection, not unsolicited business promotion.

• No Spamming: Do not send a high volume of unsolicited messages, post repetitive content, or use automated scripts or bots to interact with the platform.
• No Unauthorized Advertising: Do not use personal profiles or roommate-seeking posts to advertise unrelated products, services, or non-SphereHub businesses.
• Privacy of Others: Do not collect or harvest contact information or profile data from other users for commercial purposes without their express written consent.

5. Reporting and Enforcement

We rely on our community to help us enforce these guidelines.

• Report Violations: If you encounter any content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it immediately using the platform's reporting tools or by contacting us at: admin@sphere-hub.com.
• Enforcement: SphereHub reserves the right to review any reported content or behavior. We may, at our sole discretion, remove the content, issue a warning, temporarily suspend, or permanently terminate the accounts of users who violate these guidelines, without notice.
